Bitterness and Forgiveness
Kaitie asked me to post these two quotes that I'd mentioned in Sunday School. Neither is original with me.
Bitterness is the poison we drink hoping the other person will die.Forgiveness is setting the prisoner free - then realizing the prisoner was you!

Blood
Yesterday I gave blood for the first time. Notice I didn't say "shed blood".
They say that every time you donate blood you save one person's life. Think about the fact that Jesus donated His blood and saved every one who ever lived - or at least made it possible for them to be saved.
I also got a cool t-shirt as a thank you. It shows Frankenstein's monster and the shirt reads, "Frankie Says Give Blood".
Have you ever donated blood?

So which is it??
So today I'm preparing my coffee at one of our facilities and I notice the label on the little creamer container:
Dairy-Fresh
Nondairy CreamerDon't you love it?

Music lessons!!
For the first time ever, Kaitie and I took guitar lessons! Although Kait has had piano lessons in the past (she says she remembers none of it), I have never had any music lessons.
We've wanted to learn how to play how to play, but the Lord finally opened the door for us to take lessons. I am very excited!

Curfew
In an attempt to get ourselves to bed earlier, our family has self-imposed a computer curfew. We've decided that we're no longer allowed on the computer after 11:00 pm. Since each of us has our own computer, it's tempting to stay up too late just goofing around online, but then we all walk around exhausted.
Which leads to some interesting questions: Do you stay up too late? What do you do to get to bed on time? Do you get enough sleep? Do you have a computer curfew, self-imposed or otherwise? Is there something else that keeps you up too late?
