  • Here are the answers!

      1. Despite the hit my coolness factor is about to take, I have to admit that this is true (sorry, Narelle!). I've driven three and four wheel ATVs, and I have my own electric scooter that I affectionately refer to as my motorcycle. However, in my 41 years I have yet to ride a real motorcycle.
      2. This is the lie. My first car was a very cool 1962 Plymouth Valiant. Slant six engine, push button transmission, about 80 different shades of blue. Cost me $100. It broke down while driving it home on the day I bought it. It was right in front of a garage and the mechanic took about five minutes to adjust the timing. It drove great after that. When the inspection ran out and I couldn't pay enough to fix it up, I sold it to the junk yard for $25. I saw it on the road later. :)
      3. Obviously, this is also true. To my shame, when I was younger, I hit a cat on a dark night. It is a sad part of my driving history. :(

Congratulations to HeyJulieBaby and WildFlowerWendy for picking the correct answers!

    Hope everyone had fun! :)

  • Hey! My first car (at age 28 in 1986!) was almost a Plymouth Valiant, light blue. Looked good, but I didn't have the $400? $100? I don't remember. Anyway, it was another three years until I learned to drive.

  • well i am sad to know i was wrong, but glad to know the real answers. :)

  • Hmmmmmm.......so you had me fooled over your coolness factor.  It has me wondering.....what else do you have me fooled over!?!?!

    *winks

my SECOND car was a  HQ holden, automatic, dual paint job, pump up shockies,  was as solid as a brick outhouse........and if you look at my photos, i think i still have the pic up of it.   It was bought mainly for its size and the strength of its body (hitting a roo at over 100kms an hour can be quite deadly), and cost me back in '87 $40 a week to run!  (thirsty lil sucker!!!)
