  • Just in time for Thanksgiving!!!

And this quote about what thanksgiving might have been like in Bible times ....

"You think 4 days of turkey leftovers get old? Imagine roasting a camel (would you like the hump or a leg?)."

  • Dad will probably go home Monday. His short term memory is really shot
(Will it come back?? I don't know.), meaning that you tell him
something and he forgets it almost immediately. That doesn't seem like
a big thing, but it can be a terrible situation. It seems that as of
now, he probably won't get any better than he is, but being home will
help him. Thanks again for praying! The Lord is good!

  • Thank the Lord, my Dad is doing much better. I don't think he's
completely out of the woods, nor do we know the long term implications
of his illness, but he's conscious, eating, walking a little. He knows
all his kid's names and most of the grandkids'. All of that is good
    news.

Thank you to everyone that prayed! God is so good to us - much better than we deserve!!

  • Update
on Dad: now they are saying viral encephalitis - basically a viral
infection in his brain. He is on antiviral medication, but there's no
guarantee that that will help. The word yesterday was that within three
days we'll know whether he'll make it or not. Even if he survives, we
don't know what permanent damage (for example, brain damage or
epileptic seizures) the virus will leave.

Please pray for Dad, his wife Beth and all of my family.

  • Hi
everyone. Please pray for my Dad. He is 77 years old and in the
hospital. At this point the doctors think he has viral meningitis,
although I'm not sure that is confirmed. I don't think he is a believer. Thank
you from the bottom of my heart.

  • Hi guys! This is Kaitie again, because Dad is still too busy to do a picture update. Soo... I've been elected (of course).

We are mighty hunters! Hail the mighty hunters!

    ...the SILLY mighty hunters!

More pictures later! Leave my daddy lots and lots of comments!!
