Month: November 2004

  • Anyone interested in giving me free guitar lessons? I'm trying to figure this out on my own - and someday I imagine I might even get it - but it gets discouraging at times.

I'd even take another beginner that wanted to be my occasional "jam partner".

  • Bev and I just got back from a Fernando Ortega concert. It was pretty good. We bought a CD and hoped to have it autographed, but we never got to see him. Oh well ....

Greg and I went hunting this morning and each shot a pheasant! Yum yum!  Hail to the great hunters!

  • I guess I ought to update once every six months or so ....

Over the summer we bought a motorized scooter for me to ride back and forth to work (not very far from our home). That was great until I decided to fall off the scooter on the way to work one morning. I ended up breaking my finger, tearing a pair of my work pants and scraping my hand, arm and leg all up. Ugh! It made some great jokes for my co-workers though.

Anyway, I figured I'd let everyone in on the fun by posting the pictures I took of my injuries.  Hope they don't gross you out too badly.

Without any further ado, here they are in all their gory glory ...

This, of course, is the palm of my hand.

Here's another shot of my hand. Notice my ring finger. That's the finger that got broken. I have some good funny stories about that fiasco!

Here's a shot of my right elbow. I had a few pictures of this injury but it seemed a bit superfluous to put them all on here, right?

I think this is my elbow and my leg. Like I said, I took these pictures myself, which was no small feat considering the injury.

    That's all (isn't that enough?!).

I'll try to put something new on here sooner next time. I know all three people that read my entries are dying to hear more!

Btw, since the life threatening scooter accident I've started wearing a bike helmet when I ride. My co-workers all think my scooter is cool and they love to make jokes about me.
