Tobacco companies went to court to continue advertising near high schools. Why would they do that?
I guess when the money was on the line, they had to drop the facade of responsibility and show what they were really all about. Hook the kids while they’re young and you’ve got the chance to keep them for life.
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

When you’re in high school you try your hardest to be cool, and smoking makes you cool. I smoked for 5 years thinking it was cool. I quit when I found out I was pregnant and now when I smell it, and it smells GROSS, I always feel bad. That’s how I smelled and my breath was disgusting. I HATE smoking. UGH!

Thanks. I’m tryin.
yeah, it sucks. I have a bunch of friends, who, along with me, are in high school. I don’t smoke, but I hang out with kids who do. I think they are pretty nasty stuff… I tell them i’m rebelling by not smoking.
