Bev and I just got back from a Fernando Ortega concert. It was pretty good. We bought a CD and hoped to have it autographed, but we never got to see him. Oh well ….
Greg and I went hunting this morning and each shot a pheasant! Yum yum!

i’d be more impressed if the pheasant’s were armed… at least they’d have a fair chance.
Who said they WEREN’T armed?! We have very dangerous pheasants in this part of the hood in Pennsylvania. We only shot them in self-defense!

just the other day i saw a deer with a machine gun… now it all makes sense…

wow, you actually found pheasants around here? when I was a kid you couldn’t drive through the Lanc Cty countryside without scaring up some pheasants…but now? Never see them anymore.

Not only did we shoot two, we saw six others that we didn’t get. These are actually the sixth and seventh ones we’ve gotten this season (disclaimer: Greg got six and I’ve gotten one).
Pheasant is pretty good. Sort of a cross between chicken and turkey. We hope to get a few more before the season ends this Saturday.
Yeah, and look out for the rabbits with the AK47′s… scary! =-O
