  • Mom is in heaven

On Monday, Mom entered heaven. She is now pain free for the first time in a long time. Funeral services will be this Saturday at 3 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Lititz PA (click the link for directions). There will be a time of visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I’m doing ok. I’ll be preaching the funeral message. Mom was a wonderful woman. She’s left an incredible legacy through her large family. It was a great victory when she came to faith in Christ back in 1980.

Not sure how to end this …. you can click here for the obituary. Thanks.

  • Brian, I am so sorry to hear this. Your mom was a great lady, lively and fun, and she was very proud of her family. May the Lord comfort and bless you with the truth that you will see her again one day. My love to Bev and the kids.

  • I did not know your mother but I can understand the loss.  My condolences to you and your family in this time.  I am grateful that you know where she is and can look forward to a joyful reunion one day at the feet of the King!

  • Blessings in abundance to all of you. May it be a time of rejoicing amidst the tears.

  • I am so sorry.  I will be praying for you and your family.

  • (((Brian and family))) rejoicing that your Mom is now with Jesus, and mourning with you in your loss!

  • I will be praying for you as well.

  • I’ll have to find out if I have to be filming saturday, but if they can do without me I’m going to come.  It’s only 3 1/2 drive which is nothing for me after all those 10 hour trips to asheville and back!

  • I’m sure you will miss her, but it has to be a relief to know she is with God in the promised land.  I’ll pray for you.

  • Brian, I pray for the Lord’s abundant peace to overwhelm you during this time. Praise God for a beautiful life well lived!

  • SAD -  I remember when I lost my MOM.
I have never gotten over it -  I cannot even
talk about it without crying.  My mother
    was my best Friend.

I hope to see her in the resurrection.

The (pagan) belief in immediate transit
of individual souls after death to a state
    of perfect blessedness (heaven),
or to a state of continuous punishment
(hell), or to an intermediate state of
    purification (purgatory) has greatly
    weakened the expectation of Christ’s
    Coming.”
