  • Sermons online

Quick plug: our church has started posting our sermons online in mp3 format. Feel free to surf on over and have a listen. Currently we’re studying through the Gospel of Luke.

And as a word of explanation, I’ve mentioned that I’m now the senior pastor (do you capitalize that?); however, the associate pastor and I share the pulpit. Usually we each preach every other week.

If you’ve ever wondered how I sound in the pulpit (Would anyone ever wonder that??) , click the link below and have a blast!

Let me know what you think.

I am looking forward to the girls going to bed and the television being turned off tonight so i can hear you preaching. It’s all rather exciting actually. Hopefully i will be alive enough after a total of 4 hours sleep last night to stop drueling and take it in … if not … it will still be the very first sermon that i have slept through of yours ….. now aint that SPECIAL!?!

*winks to make sure this post is bookended properly*

It would be an honor to have you sleep through my message. :)

  • haha ok then 11pm it is   Here I thot you were being all good with your ideas of going to bed early

  • Shall I bring my cigar and fat man underware?

  • I was Switzerland on my…um…womanly…thing. You’re the only man (well besides my hubby) that reads what I write so I’m kinda blushing that you read that. I mean, it’s a thing of nature of course but still… LOL Anyways!

That’s cool you guys have posted your sermons online!! My church (ucg.org) post video sermons too, and it helps ‘coz you’re less likely to fall asleep. At least, I think that’s why they post ‘em… ha.

  • I guess you can say I got a bit traumatized when I was 15 and in Mexico on a trip with just my dad. I got my period and I kept asking my dad for some money. He kept asking why why why and I kept saying ‘cuz ‘cuz ‘cuz. I couldn’t handle the Why questions anymore so I cracked and told him I was “being a woman” that day. LOL! He looked like he wanted the earth to swallow him up forever.

Then we get to the pharmacy, and I tell him to wait in the car. He refuses. So we get in there and he’s looking and the entire time just totally beet-face red. And then more questions as to what brand, kind, absorbency, etc.

It was horrible. Since that day forward, I figured men just couldn’t handle information like that. My dad has 8 sisters too. He must’ve known something about it.

Yeah, that didn’t last long. :(

We have prayer meeting Sunday night, but we’ll discuss that Sunday afternoon.

What are your food allergies like these days? What should we be aware of?

  • Let’s see…no starch foods, nothing with food coloring, nothing that contains phylantamine or noubouxsouselampnyzmozoadgia, no veggies, no meats, no sugars, no FOODS AT ALL!!!

Haha, kidding!!  I can eat anything nowadays except foods with Barley Malt.  It’s not usually in anything but if it is, the government is now required to list it on the packaging.  Which makes life just that much easier

  • LOL! I’m a Libra, so I’m quite indecisive… but my mom tells me I shouldn’t use the zodiac as an explanation for my erratic behavior. So in that case, I blame her because she’s just as indecisive as I am.
