Do you remember how we met or the first time we met? Please leave it in the comment section if you do.

I’ve thought about this several times lately. I’ve got a bunch of Xanga friends but for some of you wonderful people, I don’t remember the first time we talked. It just sort of happened. And some of you IRL friends are the same way. I don’t remember specifically the first time or place we met.

So here’s the fun game — share the memories if you have them. And feel free to ask the same thing on your blog. Maybe we’ll start the next big Xanga fad together.

  • I remember when I first really noticed you. You were in a creation vs evolution debate with some people who had a 101 leavel understanding of biochemistry. In other words they thought they knew as fact, things that just were not true. So of course I argued with them, because I like to argue.

But it was your deep personal concern for things I had written about, that endeared you to me. Never nosy, always trying to be helpful, always the good pastor.

    Thank you

  • cool idea. you saw my post about Caleb becoming a big brother on the xanga front page and commented on my site!

  • um….ya know i dont know. i think i saw you comment on Olivia’s page or maybe it was Tim….

  • I don’t have a firm memory, but I think the first time I met you was in the backyard of Mr. Brian L.  I didn’t know who you were, and I didn’t know you were the father of your daughter, who I knew of through Xanga.  If it wasn’t in his back yard, but earlier, I am almost positive I was with Brian and we ran into you somewhere. Something like that.

  • I remember you IMing me and asking me some questions about my past. Other than that, I have a lot of subscribers so I don’t remember the first time you visited my site.

  • No idea. Most probably a homeschool event. Do you remember?

  • Oh, I don’t know…It was either through you being a dance student’s dad or when you decided to become a student yourself.

  • I just remember your first beautiful prayer that you left on my Xanga.  You found me.  I’m not sure how.  But I’m glad you did.

  • Your son found me and I sort of gradually met the rest of your family. I  don’t remember the very first time you talked to me. Might have been webcam or on the phone, I forget!

  • I don’t know the exact time but you were only around 6 and were my brother’s curly haired buddy. :)

  • I have no idea how we met. I reckon it had something to do with Irish Dance?

  • I came across your site just randomly. In fact, so randomly that I don’t even remember… A lot of help I am, haha… I’m pretty sure it has something to do with the common ground we find with our Savior!

  • it was on my second post you randomly commented me, i think you saw a comment i left on bittersunday’s site but i’m not really sure. i just remember thinking you had  funny username and being glad that someone had commented on my brand new xanga site :)

  • Ok … looks back for first posted comments

Hmmmm, i looked back at my comments and they shed no light on the subject at all … only that my first comment to you was about the 29th of the 10th last year.  Wow … thats 10 months ago nearly!

I THINK i saw your footprints on my site … though i may be wrong.

No matter HOW it happened, it did and i am glad that i got to meet you all!

Blessings sir to you and yours … especially to my mummy … Grandad!

    LOL

Your 39 year old grandaughter …

    Me!

  • I am recalling that you found me.  I don’t recall how.  Perhaps on Jill’s site or maybe Lindsay.  Hope you are having a great day!

    Tim

  • I can’t remember either, how odd. Now I should track back and check. Oh, and I was wondering if you could contribute to this topic for men to give advice to women? http://www.xanga.com/GreekPhysique/608936296/mens-day-at-the-gp-blog.html . A lot of women gave advice when I put up the topic for them, so I don’t want us guys to look lazy when it’s our turn. Thanks, GP

  • Hello SpiderDad,
You worked hard to make your site simple yet elegant. The pictures are a nice touch. I see that you have a wide variety of interests and observations here!
I like to write articles about God and religion on my site to help people to really get to know God, especially in these troubled times. 14 When the good news about the kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations, the end will come. (Matthew 24:14) (CEV) I hope you get a chance to look at them.
