April 7, 2007

  • Today is April 7, 2007. On this date in 1979 (28 years ago!), I came to know Jesus Christ personally as my Savior. He washed me in His blood, forgave my many sins and gave me eternal life. He secured my place in heaven, put His Holy Spirit in my heart and gave me the precious gift of His abiding presence. He changed my life forever.

Wow! What did I ever do to deserve that kind of treatment?
Hint: The correct answer is “nothing”.

If you don’t know Him, I’d be glad to introduce the two of you!

So happy birthday to me, but Jesus gets all the credit!

  • Happy Birthday to you! Today, 16 years ago I was baptized!

  • Hi Brian (right?) Happy Birthday!! I checked out your church site and it sounds like a great church! Yep we’re missionaries, actually in Ukraine, with a Calvary Chapel.
Our little son loves to dance to Celtic music by the way. Oh, and I liked your grammar lesson, honestly. That kinda stuff bugs me when people mess it up! But I learned from the lesson!
Oh and it’s nice to meet you.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR BROTHER!!!

I thought I had come to write a comment already……….hmm……dreaming again!

I hope that your easter was just smashing.  I was surprised to hear that Americans dont celebrate Good Friday.  It is a public holiday here, where we go to church and have a wonderful time of worship and repentance…..it is a very strong day in the Christian calander.

    Anyhow……..got a new chat……gotta go

    you remember chats dont you?

    wijnks

    bye!

  • I’m sorry……..I wont be here.  Mark is home…..it is Easter School Holidays…….and it is my only day with the whole family this week as I am working.

    SOWWY!

    *pout

    ……and here I am complaining……lol……typical Narelle!

I am pleased that you celebrate Good Friday…..my thoughts exactly!

How can you celebrate 2 in one as some seem to try…..it makes no sence to me…….you end up glancing over both.  I suppose though that it is more of a catholic thing…..there are those on here whom i love dearly and whom are known to me as great christian people…..who have never heard of it!

    *shakes head

    to me that is unbelievable!

Oh…talking about unvelievable……did you know that my birth name……Rice…….it has origins in Ireland AND Wales!

    Hey bloke……we may be related!

    *winks

    So……….my 125th cousin!

    *grins

Be blessed…….you and yours.  Give that spunky girl of yours a hug for me!

    Love y’all

    Narelle
