  • This is a somewhat weird but very good book. I think I have some idea where it’s heading, but with about 120 pages left, there’s still a lot I don’t understand. If you haven’t read any of Ted Dekker’s books yet, pick one up right away. Blink is totally awesome, and Thr3e is really something too. I didn’t expect the ending in that one at all.

Ok, Xanga/Amazon’s book servers aren’t working so I can’t do a “currently reading” for above; therefore, the book I’m talking about is Showdown by Ted Dekker. Maybe I’ll correct that later …. then again, maybe I’ll just think about correcting that later!

Anyone have any other favorite books or authors?

Ok, go figure, now it works. Isn’t technology grand? :)

  • It is a weird, but very very good, book. Where do you think it’s going?!

  • I recommend The Oath. There are a bunch of other good books but I can’t think of any at the moment..I try not to read too much. grin.

  • love how you type out every little thought   miss you guys!!

  • I like John Grisham and Anne Tyler. Two very different authors, but all their books are great.

  • No way! My dad just bought me that book Friday night and I’m planning on starting to read it tomorrow. Cool!

I quite like Frank Peretti’s books. I read Monster in March, and it was pretty good. Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti wrote the book House together which I thought was a really good book. If you haven’t read it you should.. I had trouble putting it down.

Our flour fight was awesome. It was just throwing flour at each other, but it didn’t really need much else to it. It started because I said, “Hey, I’ve always felt like throwing flour at people…” and then took the thing of flour outside and so it began.

  • i thought i commented on this post… hmm.

as for a favorite author, i think i’d have to say melody carlson. though i highly doubt that you would be interested in her books since they’re mainly aimed towards teenage girls

monster is a good book. i need to finish it, though.
